Dancer, Singer/Songwriter, creative writer, journalist, aspiring television producer and, human being. Jourdan Cooper is all of them and more. Jourdan began her rigorous dance training at the age of three in Wilmington DE. She went on to continue her training at Cab Calloway School of Arts and graduating from the Duke Ellington School of Arts dance program in Washington DC. During her senior year at Duke Ellington, Jourdan was awarded the opportunity to write a published article featured in Black Dance Magazine. By age 16 Jourdan began teaching and performing in the New York, Philadelphia and the DC metropolitan areas. At age 18 she began her professional dance career by performing as a company member with Philadanco (Philadelphia Dance Company) second company. Two years later she became a first company member of ASHA Dance Company in New York City. In 2016 Jourdan released her first music video, written and performed by herself under the JNahtae handle. Jourdan is an upbeat, dynamic, and energetic person who enjoys working on engaging projects with diverse people. In 2018 Jourdan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Marymount Manhattan College in New York, NY. Her background includes working as a Production Intern at the Dr. Oz Show, Studio Manager for Dance Place in Washington DC, and Intern for Parsons Dance. As a production intern at The Dr. Oz Show, she has acquired applicable skills and knowledge that has both enriched and developed her passion for television. Soaring a strapping 5 foot 9 inches, Jourdan takes pride in her height and pays homage to pioneer amazonian female dancers such as Courtney Henry, Teresa Reichlen, and the tremendously influential Judith Jamison.

JNahtae is a multidisciplinary recording artist from the Philadelphia and Washington DC metropolitan areas. Her sound is a collective of R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, and Jazz/Funk. JNahtae was brought up in an exceptionally artistic household. A few of her musical influencers are India.Arie, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Nina Simone, Anita Baker, Kem, and Yolanda Adams. In 2018 JNahtae released an electric 10-track studio album. JNahtae aspires to spread Peace through her music and Love with her words.
